It's okay, in less than a month I'm taking a few days to backpack to a town on the shores of Lake Chelan that is only accessible by foot, ferry, or float plane. I never had money for such adventures during school, it's a give and take kind of thing.

I hope its as good as it sounds. Usually these things are not as awesome as you were expecting. Just remember to make the most of it! Haruhi style.

I get live out of backpack, travel secluded trails, and cook fish over an open fire. How can this not deliver? Backpacking makes me feel like an adventurer, like Indiana Jones or someone out of a fantasy book.

Disappointment is a character flaw, not a reality.
