In all seriousness, you two are close enough that many doctors would welcome your input on health issues. (I mean both ways, BTW.) You may not be "life partners", "significant others", "boyfriend and girlfriend", "girlfriend and girlfriend", "lovers", or "spouses", but there must be some category for people who live together, sleep in the same bed, know most everything about each other, and care for each other enough to want to be there to support one another other than "roommates"! "Friends without benefits"? "Non-sexual partner"... Too confusing... You should really just date and make it easier to classify your relationship for the rest of us! (Just kidding! LOL!)
