Fast and Furious: 4 Suspects Named
(1/1)
Genichiro:
--- Quote ---TUCSON, Ariz. ? Authorities made a rare disclosure Monday linked to the botched gun-smuggling investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious, revealing identities and requesting the public's help in capturing four fugitives accused in the shooting death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent 18 months ago.
The announcement comes in the wake of pressure from U.S. House Republicans who led a vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, criticizing the nation's top prosecutor for withholding information related to the probe.

It's about time they did something in this investigation that would actually be helpful. All that political crap over Holder holding information wasn't doing anything for anyone, well, other than making the Republicans look like a bunch of morons. Perhaps now with names and some descriptions released, we might be able to find the men who were involved in the killing of Brian Terry and make sure that they pay the penalty for their crimes. They should have done this much sooner, but that's politics. I know if I happen upon any of these men, I'll hit up the police right away.
Cirno:
At least they're doing something to actually help now. I hope the catch the rest of the people involved; at least they already have one person.
Genichiro:
Yeah, they have one, who of course is pleading not guilty (what a surprise). Of course, it would greatly increase the odds of having the actual shooter in custody if we were able to round up all of them.
Cirno:
I know I'd report them if I saw them. Then again, I'm glad we don't live anywhere near where we would find those guys. Don't like dodging metal bullets.
Genichiro:
Indeed, I would rather not live by the border and have to put up with smugglers in my backyard. (And I don't even have a backyard.)
