Mother Makes the Ultimate Sacrifice For Her Child

It was a mother's ultimate sacrifice.

A tornado spawned by Tropical Storm Debby ripped through the oak trees and barbed-wire fence near Heather Town's mobile home in Venus, Fla. In what must have been a moment of instinct, she grabbed her 3-year-old daughter and clutched the child in her arms, Bay News 9 reports.

Moments later, Town's home was thrown 200 feet into the woods by the powerful storm, according to Fox 13.

It's amazing just how far a loving parent will go for the sake of her child. Clinging on to her daughter through it all, just to make sure she's safe, worrying more for her child's safety than her own. She'll always be her daughter's hero. It's a shame her youngest will never really get a chance to know her mother. Hopefully the rest of her family will be sure she knows of her mother's sacrifice that allowed her to continue living in this world.

Aw... that's so sad. At least the child will live on. I could only hope I could do that, if I was ever forced to do so.

I'm sure you would. The desire to protect one's children is quite powerful. I know if I ever have children I would do all I could to make sure they stay safe.
