Title: Mispronunciation/Typo Thread
Post by: Zen on July 24, 2012, 16:47
Sometimes a mispronunciation or typo can totally change the meaning of a sentence. Post examples of these in this thread. It is better if they are funny, macabre, or perverse!

Put the word that is wrong in bold.

I'll start:

The army sent in the corpse of engineers to fix the dam.

From my facebook:

Friend: "I heard that muscles can make pearls!"

Her friend: "Really? Huh. I heard that mussels can make pearls."

Not an exact quote, but it would take me forever to find the actual exchange; you get the gist of it, though, right?
