Title: Anime Boston 2012

This convention was back in the start of April. I want to make a thread for it, because it was a big one for those of us in the Touhou fandom. We were able to bring over Mizuki Hitoshi, mangaka for Hang in There, Kogasa-san (http://danbooru.donmai.us/pool/show/2420), a 4-koma web series that's a self insert with Touhou characters and plenty of comedy. This con was, by and far, the best I've been to yet. I hope we can keep bringing over Touhou guests at least one con per year! (Maybe we'll manage to get ZUN over here one of these days)

That's why they made me sign a waiver, saying I wouldn't hold them at fault if something did happen to me as a result of eating the whole thing. Nothing did, though, so it's all good. :grin:

I have to ask, when you were eating the giant hamburger, where you cosplaying? If so, as what? There are combinations that would make eating a giant hamburger even more awesome!

I was cosplaying as Momiji, the character in my avi, and it did make for a new meme. It wasn't because of the burger, but because of the five pounds of fries that came with it. Her debut game was Mountain of Faith, so the members of the fandom who saw pictures of me eating it coined the meme "Mountain of Fries."
